Guns in the sky!

Monday, January 30th, 2006

I watched CSI LV’s new episode and found it to be a neat and clean way to treat a one-murder case the whole hour. it was titled, Kiss-Kiss, Bye-Bye.
I wont spill the details but this episode involved everybody in solving the case and it turned out fine. That nite, it was a geek and geek maestro team up (Grissom and Greg) that cracked it wide open of course with the help of Catherine and the rest of the crew.
The episode also gave depth to the family relationship between Cat, Sam Braun (her father) and her mother.
Nuff said.

I enrolled earlier for an exam on Mar11 to take up my IELTS and somehow it still gave me a lot of thinking to do. That decision gave pushed me to another level of maturity and level of ease and taste. What the hell do i know?

I saw tito jess this afternoon in a building ’round ortigas and I got the chance of talking with him and it kinda feels great when you can lighten up somebody else’s point of view on things and what made it significant was the fact that we came a subject that we really liked but never pondered doing: business venture.

This one is for Tita Cecil and Tito Oscar, the undisputed power couple of FF Alabang

After getting their share of tikoy, everybody thought of dancing the latest body jam late last nite at PUREGOLD Las Pinas with the Tuesday Group doing the rounds.
It was an open invitation to the color coded mommies of FF Alabang to join the Body Jam class.
Those who danced on the carpark all huffed and puffed their way to complete the new track as the mommies stared in awe.
It was cool.
Man, we were addicts. Hey dude are we drugs?

So, we pigged out on the food that was served on Luk Foo and on our table, Joey started out the entertainment. Everybody was laughing (Apple,Wendell,Anna,Maripet,Juvie,Tita Cecil,Kate and her mom,Joey and me) and the mommies on the other table were wondering why we were noisy and having fun.
The joke started with Apet’s new status here on friendster as she wushu-ed her fame to the "In-a-relationship" class… The baby girl has grown up heheh!
The never ending saga of the Exorcism of Emily Marinas continued on the table while we remain seated and acted like fools on the table…man, everybody was waiting for that bit. Even if my throat is in pain, I remained game and did my part of that bit. It was hilarious.
Even if I had my tonsils ripped again, I know the risk was worth it.
That was hilarious im telling you.
Ill post the pics as soon as i get them.

Let me say my thank you’s to the power couple, Tita Cecil and Tito Oscar for being such a generous host. Cheers to you tito and tita!

Savor the fun and laughter coz its The Simon Colwell Show

I laughed my ass off after seeing the American Idol audition.
Wow.Its freak show central Chicago that hosted those 3 guys.
This is the point where I say that AI pales in comparison to what Mark Burnett’s Rockstar:INXS.

Rockstar:INXS rules!
hope to see them next season with a new band in tow.

Can you always count on love to save the day for you?

Wednesday, January 18th, 2006

I was driving alone earlier to a destination 100kms away from the office with a sore neck and an inflamed pair of tonsils when I received a text from someone very important.

I nearly sideswiped my car when I read the message and kept on wunderin how come?
You see, I always try to challenge everything that has befallen on me and I get my dose of contentment when Im done challenging it. A question comes to mind, Can you count on love to save the day for you?

Tell me, did it ever save the day for you? I was counting on it but you know, people are so different, varied and jaded these days that it didnt come as close as saving it, thus it exposed what it should be doing, that love is the one thing that makes you do things, NOT the thing that makes you feel about things.

Agree?

I dunno, try driving from hell and back alone then let’s gear up for everything.

Obnoxious

Sunday, January 15th, 2006

While listening to my player, I came across some songs that I found na medyo obnoxious. The groove is there and everything but the lytics are either obnoxious and funny. Case in point, the song Bolunji by a band named Velcro, care to listen to its lyrics and coming from a POV of a guy telling those words to a girl …yikes!
Another song is Dontcha by Pussycat Dolls, yeah figure out the lyrics and you’ll get what I mean.

Lurkers, viewers, audiences…tell me what you think.

TRAPPED

Wednesday, January 11th, 2006

OK this is the latest episode from CSI NY (shown last Dec14 in the US) and this is a 2 notch higher than the movie PANIC ROOM.
Well you guessed that right, Det. Messer got locked up inside a panic room of a rich computer geek who died inside.
While on its second season, CSI NY is getting to be really interesting when it comes to story telling. Gary Sinise and his acting is definitely a far cry from his movie and his theater roles.
You guys better catch the second season of CSI NY.

chill out

Urban HellRaisers

Monday, January 9th, 2006

Miami FL,

I just finished CSI Miami’s Urban Hellraiser Episode. This one is freaky I must tell you.
Murder without motive and ending the episode with a teaser.
It couldnt get any better than this for the Miami Guys. It seems to me that they are headed on the same direction on how CSI Lasvegas won its foothold on fans.
The cases on this fourth season is very much different and its has outdone itself midway during the year.
Caruso’s acting here is superb, like an unstable bomb ready to explode, with calibrated response to any thing deadly or meaningless. I have yet to see him (his character as Horatio Crane) crack a joke like Gil Grissom.

You guys, have to watch this either thru download or thru AXN.

Im keeping the lid closed.

Next up will be CSI NY 2nd Season.

what a year 2005 was!

Saturday, January 7th, 2006

This may be the last time that Ill be looking back to 2005 which started out so great,it hit the highs of high and hit the lows of low and wound up to be better at the tailend.

–A bunch of thanks to all people that I came across with. All the nice ones, weird ones, unreal ones, flat out boring ones, interesting peeps, the jeepney drivers, pedestrians, cigarette vendors, waiters and waitresses, barker, security guards, entertainers, artistas, feeling artistas, heads of companies and so on.

What a difference a smile and a small talk make to all of these individuals.
I made a bridge and reached out. Im just starting and Im not planning to stop.

–Million thanks to the women that meant much to me. You know who you are and the things we’ve done to straighten out your life. Thank you for biting the bullet and gambled and believed that life is much more than this.

–Kudos to my buddies: drinking, walking, gym, travel, gimik, beerhouse, business, school…yeah my hats are off to you guys! INUMAN NA!

–My family that Ive been looking out for. I hope we can help each other out as I venture to another place to create my own.

–To my inaanak, Gabrielle aka Gabby, thanks for not crying when I first carried you in my arms. you’ll always be the family’s cherished little angel other of course with your two super makulit na brothers. Ill always be here for you my dear for you are so cute.

–For the opportunities made, lost and created. Im still here.

–For the new set of friends na nakilala ko, inuman na!

–For those who hanged on and believed, we can still do it!

The first 7 days of 2006 has already been spent and all of it went to grinding halt, I’ll be ready.

Thank you 2005.
